Chrome Extension
What it is
The Voxie Chrome Extension lets you click on phone numbers you see anywhere in Chrome (for instance inside your CRM web app or customer dashboard) and immediately open a conversation window in Voxie. You don’t need to switch tabs or manually copy/paste numbers.
It pops up a mini-Voxie Message Hub panel over the current page so you can message the contact in context.
Why it matters / Value proposition
-
Faster workflows: Instead of switching to the Voxie tab or app, you can message directly from your CRM or other browser tools.
-
Better context: You stay on the page you’re working in (e.g. a customer record) and instantly message them without losing your place.
-
Consistency & integration: Edits or tags you do via the extension sync with your main Voxie contact data.
-
Complete functionality in a mini UI: You get most messaging features (snippets, variables, media attachments) even from the popup.
Voxie Chrome Extension enables Voxie Users to click into any phone number within the Chrome Browser Page and start Message Hub conversation. This is mostly aimed to those Users that spend their day within a CRM or any other Customer Management Tool that’s accessible throughout a Browser, Chrome in particular, avoiding the need to spawn a Voxie Tab to Message a Contact.
How to Install it?
Go to your Chrome Extensions Marketplace, and search for Voxie:

Click on Add to Chrome
Use it in the same Browser session you are going to use your Contacts Management. If you already have Voxie session open you’ll be logged in automatically in the Chrome Extension.
How to use it?
Once you’ve installed Voxie Chrome Extension, you’ll be able to hover your cursor over valid phone numbers and once clicked on them, a Voxie Window will pop-up with a Conversation panel so you can message the contact.

You’ll be able to access the historical conversation you had with the given contact, and leverage the totality of Voxie Message Builder functionalities, such as
- Emojis
- Snippets
- Message Variables
- Media: Attachments to send an MMS
Editing your Contacts
From the Chrome extension, you’ll be able to edit the contacts you’ve started a conversation with, if Voxie does not know this contact, the Name will appear empty, if that’s the case you’ll be able to click in the 📝 button.

Additionally you can add Tags to the contact, so you can classify it accordantly or make inject it into a particular flow that is trigger by a particular Tag.
Whatever change you make through the Extension, will be retained and will be applied and updated in the main Voxie app
